Originally born in Warner Robins, Georgia, McKenzie grew up in Bettendorf, Iowa. A runner from an early age, she eventually made her collegiate debut with The University of Alabama, later transferring to the University of San Fransisco for the remainder of her undergraduate career. She is now a graduate student at Vanderbilt University pursuing her M.Ed. in School Counseling while competing on the cross country and track teams. Now that she's a Commodore, she has the opportunity to add the Boost into her training mix.

"I've used the Boost Treadmill to add mileage to my week without the additional pounding. I've found it helpful in preventing injuries!"

McKenzie has proven to be a top competitor throughout her athletic and academic careers, earning a spot on both the SEC All-Freshman Team for cross country in 2016 as well as First Team All-SEC cross country in 2017, and SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll in 2018. A naturally dedicated and incredibly hard worker, her answer was no surprise when we asked McKenzie about her favorite workout of all time.

“I love hard long runs because it's fun to see how far you can push yourself!”
