our story

from nasa to now

Our founder’s father originally developed foundational air pressure technology at NASA — the innovation that inspired the first microgravity and reduced body weight treadmills. Boost was built by the original team behind the AlterG® Anti-Gravity Treadmill™ system, taking everything we learned and refining it into the machine we always envisioned for modern rehabilitation, recovery, and performance training.

why choose boost?

Automatic Height Adjustment

All Boost 2 and 3 models feature a fully automated, motorized entry and exit system designed for safer, easier use in rehabilitation and performance training settings. Simply enter your height on-screen and the system automatically adjusts the treadmill for a fast, intuitive setup.

Quick Calibration & Intuitive Controls

Adjust speed up to 18mph and reduce body weight by up to 80% in seconds for supported running, rehabilitation, low-impact training, and return-to-run progression — all controlled through intuitive, ergonomic knob controls.

Easy to Service & Maintain

Swap the bag yourself in just 10 minutes — no technician visit, no service appointments, and no complicated maintenance processes. Built for simplified ownership and long-term reliability, with a responsive support team always just a phone call away.

How is Boost different from an AlterG® treadmill?

Boost was developed by the original team behind the AlterG® treadmill. Both systems use body weight support technology, but Boost was designed to improve accessibility & affordability, simplify ownership, and provide a more modern Microgravity Treadmill experience.

What is a Boost Microgravity Treadmill?

A microgravity (sometimes called “zero-gravity”) treadmill is a body weight support treadmill that uses air pressure technology to reduce impact during walking or running. These systems are commonly used in rehabilitation, injury recovery, and sports performance training.experience.

What is a body-weight support treadmill used for?

Body-weight support treadmills are used for rehabilitation, injury recovery, gait training, return-to-run progression, low-impact training, and long-term movement health — helping users stay active by reducing impact while maintaining natural movement patterns.

Can I buy a treadmill like the Boost for my clinic or home?

Yes. Our newest model, The Boost 3, offers flexible purchase, lease, and rental options for clinics, recreational facilities, and home users looking for a body weight support treadmill solution. Its compact design also makes it well-suited for facilities where space is limited.

Does Boost require regular service or maintenance?

No. Boost is designed for simplified ownership. The air bag can be swapped in about 10 minutes without a technician visit or service appointment, reducing downtime and maintenance complexity. If any issues arise, our service team is available by phone to provide quick, real-time support.

What does “reduce body weight by up to 80%” mean?

It means the treadmill uses air pressure technology to partially unweight the user’s body, allowing for lower-impact walking or running that supports rehabilitation, recovery, training progression, and everyday movement.

What are the benefits of microgravity treadmill movement?

Microgravity treadmill training reduces impact on the body while allowing users to maintain natural movement patterns. It is used for rehabilitation, injury recovery, everyday training, athletic performance, and long-term movement health.
